This is why Americans are correct to support giving military aid to Ukraine. Please write to your elected representatives to request this military aid. If you are a US citizen, please consider writing to President Biden and your other elected representatives, and demand Ukraine be given the above weapons - in war-winning quantities, and soon. The sooner we give Ukraine the weapons it needs to liberate all of its territory, the sooner this war will be over, and with fewer Ukrainian casualties. Letters can be submitted electronically via the Whitehouse website. One can also google for ones' elected representatives - many of which have similar websites. One may simply write and submit a letter electronically to make one's desire known.

You know, I feel like I am watching a history lesson from 1853 Crimean War, or maybe even 1783 when Catherine Annexed Ukraine. What does this tell you? It tells me that the region has been poorly led or governed often by powerful forces from outside the region imposing their will on the People of Ukraine or Crimea. These powerful leaders are of course motivated by their own desire to benefit from the natural wealth of the land, the cropland and the strategic ports on the northern Black Sea. But that is the problem. Rulers from outside the region failing to do just cause or benefit to the region itself. Thus the region suffers and is the cause of repeated rebellions and suppressions and rebellions and suppressions. All because some Fat German Princess wants to be Empress of all of Europe. Greed and Hubris. And the people always suffer. Just like the Holy Land being itself pretty much drenched in blood. When will we learn? Probably when it's too late.
